In town for the second night?

We're hosting a Free and Open Seder at B'nai Israel Congregation this year on the second night of Pesach.

This Seder is for people of all backgrounds looking to celebrate Passover together.
There is no cost to attend, but your donations will help support our work.
Sponsorships are welcome.  Registration is required.

The Seder will be fun, participatory and engaging, and the food will be absolutely delicious!
Enjoy a catered 5-course meal together in an intimate and welcoming atmosphere.

Thursday, April 10: Taanit Bechorot

  • Fast Begins at dawn
  • 8:30 am: Shacharit /Siyyum
  • 8:22 pm or after: Bedikat Chametz (the search for chametz)
     

Friday, April 11:

  • 10:37 am: Biur Chametz - Last time to own/discard/burn chametz
     

Saturday, April 12: Erev Pesach

  • 10:22 am: Last time for eating chametz
  • Candle Lighting after 8:23pm from a pre-existing flame
     

Sunday, April 13: First Day Yom Tov

  • 9:30 am: Shacharit (followed by kiddush lunch)
  • 8:00 pm: Second Night Community Seder
  • Candle Lighting after 8:24 pm
     

Monday, April 14: Second Day Yom Tov

  • 9:30 am: Shacharit (followed by kiddush lunch)
  • 8:25 pm: Yom Tov ends
     

Friday, April 18: Shabbat Chol Hamoed Pesach

  • 7:28 pm: Candle lighting for Shabbat/Holiday
     

Saturday, April 19: 7th Day Passover

  • 9:30 am: Shacharit
  • Candle Lighting after 8:30 pm from a pre-existing flame
     

Sunday, April 20: 8th day Passover

  • 9:30 am: Shacharit
  • 10:45 am: Yizkor
  • 8:31 pm: Yom Tov ends
